Dashashwamedh Ghat  

It is the oldest, most spectacular and important ghat, located on the bank of the river Ganges. This ghat is famous for the Agni Pooja that takes place daily in the evening by a group of the priests. 

Assi Ghat 

Assi Ghat is situated in the southernmost part of Varanasi. A place where pilgrims bathe before paying their homage to Lord Shiva under a peepal tree. It also constitutes the southern end of the conventional city.
